Another year in the Baka Inaka

So I just started my third year, here in the countryside of Japan, that so many of us call-- the Baka Inaka, a.k.a. Fukui. Obviously, it's not so bad-- or i wouldn't have stayed so long. So get ready for more pics, comments, and bitching about my life here in Japan.

Halloween Pics

One of the elementary school that I visit has an English club. There are about 7 members in the club- and they're all 5th and 6th graders.

During one of our club meetings we had a halloween "party." I dressed up and brought extra costumes/ face paint that the students could use.
Here's my favorite pic- cause what boy in America would dress as a fairy?

Other English club members. They didn't want to dress up-- but they loved dressing up the only boy in the group.

As always, the Fukui International Club organized a halloween party- there was a parade at the mall, the annual halloween train and then a party at a club/ bar in katamachi (the nightlife district of Fukui city). The party was a Lite and as always there was a good turn out.
This year I skipped the halloween train, instead I headed over to Steph's place for a pre-Lite party.
